Born on a Monday morning
Born in Belgium on April 15, 1985 at 7:15 AM. From his earliest years, Michael was raised in a family where business, hard work, and ambition were simply part of life. By age seven, he was already attending client meetings, visiting trade shows, and operating forklifts in the family's 3,000 m² factory — his real playground.
A promise to his mother
On November 13, 1991, he became a big brother and promised his mother he would always look after his younger brother Frank. Having grown up surrounded by adults, workers, warehouses, and business meetings, Michael never truly felt at home in school classrooms — preferring instead the family factory floor.
Licenses, wings & heavy loads
Standing 6'5" tall, barely twenty years old, Michael earned his commercial pilot license, boating licenses, and multiple heavy vehicle certifications. Passionate about aviation and navigation, he could pilot an airplane, captain a boat, and maneuver a 40-ton truck with equal ease. People often repeated that no one could do everything. Michael spent his life proving the opposite.
Eurobounder & MMX-Press
For nearly fifteen years, he worked side by side with his father building Eurobounder — a Luxembourg-based express transport company serving major international carriers such as TNT, FedEx, and UPS. Eurobounder became an important player in the rise of e-commerce logistics across Europe. When his father retired in 2019, Michael took over independently and transformed it into MMX-Press Transport.
Le Bâtiment LLC is born
Founded in January 2021, Le Bâtiment LLC was created as the culmination of this journey. A construction and renovation company unlike any other — built around transparency, speed, flexibility, and above all, a genuine passion for craftsmanship. Nothing is standardized. Every project is treated as a personal mission, designed and executed with the same care as if it were their own.
Beyond borders
Today, Michael and Julie are no longer limited to Belgium. They travel internationally and have already completed projects and business concepts across the United States and overseas territories, with many more currently in development. Their vision goes beyond borders: bringing creativity, Belgian craftsmanship, and intelligent design wherever people seek spaces built with passion, precision, and purpose.
